Aparthotel Dunes Platja

This hotel deserves extra stars where possible, we arrived Sunday 12th October at 17:45 after checking into another hotel, which was so terrible that we checked out within 45 minutes. We walked down to Dunes Platja and were greeted by the kindest young lady on reception, she showed us the room before we booked to ensure we were happy with it and then let us book online because it showed me a discounted price. The apartment we were in was excellent, everything you could think of was in there. A TV in both the living room and the bedroom. Pots, pans, cutlery for cooking, a fridge, towels, soap, shower gel - plenty of toilet roll!! The balcony was spacious and private. The hotel was clean, all of the staff were very friendly. Only a short walk from the Main Street in town where there are plenty of restaurants, shops, bars and literally a stones through away from the lovely beach. The breakfast included was a normal buffet style, not masses of choice but plenty there to fill you up for the day. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back if we find ourselves in Mallorca again - nothing is too much for any of the staff and we had a wonderful, comfortable stay! This is a greatly looked after and maintained hotel. It’s not new but you can see they are upgrading it bits by bits and lots of things that are built in are of great quality. Very clean property. Spacious rooms. Great pool and area. Nice ladies at the reception. 2-3 mins walk to the beach. Surprisingly quiet area considering you have bars around. Good with toddlers.

Wonderful staff, a good team who really look after the customers. Lovely rooms with great views, quiet hotel, great food, Gluten Free options available to order. Lovely walking routes, so bring good shoes/sandals, great safe beach to walk & swim in also. Bus stop nearby. Lovely Promenade & just a lovely vibe in the town. We would stay again, a Gem of a hotel

We only stayed here for half a day without sleeping overnight as our hotel wanted to charge us €500 for another night as we had a night flight and late check out wasn’t available, this was a cheaper option. Reception staff very friendly, hotel and room was spotlessly clean, the room was of a good size and would have everything you need for a holiday. Aircon worked well and the room I think had been recently refurbished as it was modern and spotless. The best part was the stunning panoramic view of the sea (310) it really was breath taking. Lovely pool and park area for children. Beach only a 2 min walk and town centre with restaurants about the 5 mins. A shame we weren’t here longer and only found it by chance as we actually preferred it to the all inclusive family resort we’d stayed in for the holiday.

It is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The beautiful beach is just a few steps. The staff is kind and very helpful, especially the lady at the help desk. The buffet and the a la carte restaurant both serve delicious and various foods and drinks. The room is nice and large. You can find everything you need. The sangria is highly recommended at the bar. Can Picafort is less crowded than Alcudia, but you can find everything for shopping, walking, and having a perfect holiday. Public transport by own and optional guided tours are both perfect.
